Ladies and gentlemen, we’d like you to know that CalAtlantic has implemented business continuity measures across the company to prepare and ensure we continue to care for our employees and customers.

The continuing spread of the coronavirus worldwide is driving organizations everywhere to prepare for a possible extension of local community quarantine measures. Over the past few weeks, the COVID-19 outbreak has further impacted businesses around the world. 

 

Our Critical Response team at CalAtlantic continues to monitor the situation closely. To ensure the safety and security of our employees and customers, there will be ongoing communications from CalAtlantic to our customers as the situation evolves.

Security Is Our Top Priority

First of all, we want to reassure our customers that we have prepared for this outcome. At CalAtlantic we have invested to ensure the critical 24/7 service from our Communication hubs can continue while protecting the health and well-being of our own employees.

We understand that public measures that are being put in place nationwide can potentially bring unanticipated challenges to the safety and security of your business. Rest assured that at this time, CalAtlantic will continue to provide:

  • 24/7 site protection in a high state of alert; we understand alarm arming hours may need to be extended at this time with premises vacant
  • always on detection where necessary; no unauthorized movement will go unchallenged on your site while your CalAtlantic System  is armed
  • remote monitoring of your site by our skilled Intervention Specialist; there is no need for any physical presence so no problem with social distancing
  • the ability to login to your cameras remotely; allowing you to check up on your business while at home over the next few weeks

Local Compliance

Our ongoing activities are based on guidance from the U.S. Center for Disease Control.

CalAtlantic is implementing necessary actions to mitigate risk and maintain continuity.

We are taking all precautions being advised from governmental organizations. We have deployed our Critical Response team to manage our activities in relation to this crisis. As this is an evolving situation, day to day management is important, as such the Critical Response team communicates daily to review changes in conditions and update our risk and mitigation strategy.

We Take Safety Seriously

All CalAtlantic employees have been issued with guidance on how to best protect themselves and how to communicate with us, should their own risk status change. We have an established business continuity approach having two monitoring locations that are fully capable of supporting each other. 

Our Communication Hubs are a very important part of our day to day service, and special steps have been taken to limit access for nonessential movement. We have reviewed staffing across the business to allow for various eventualities.

The safety and security of CalAtlantic employees and customers is our priority. Please rest assured that we are implementing all measures to continue to provide the same high level of service at this time.
